The National Innovation Marketplace (aka Planet Eureka!), developed by Merwyn, Inc., is an open innovation marketplace where inventors and companies connect.   The National Innovation Marketplace is a service of  the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), which the Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ and IMC are a part of.
 
prize details/restrictions:    Merwyn Business Simulation is the "world's most truthful system for early stage innovation sales forecasting."  This tool will help you to develop a great product concept and to forecast the sales potential of your idea. prize details/restrictions:   Must have a complete invention with photos and/or sketches.  Government filing fees of approximately $125 to be paid by the winner.  Prize is complete with filing of provisional application; the provisional application will get the winner a filing date with the patent office.  The patent application will not be examined by the patent office; it is the winner's sole responsibility to file a non-provisional patent application with one year from the filing of the provisional application.  If a non-provisional application is not pursued, the inventor risks losing rights in the invention.  Application will be filed within 3 months from the date the invention is submitted to the attorney.
