The Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ provides one-on-one assistance to entrepreneurs, start-up companies and existing businesses to help them make their innovative ideas a reality.
The KIZ Coordinator assists clients with project plans based on the client's goals, and assists clients with selecting the right resources to meet those goals. The KIZ Coordinator then helps clients manage their projects and timelines. Patent and Product Searches
The Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ performs initial patent research and existing product searches for new clients to help them gauge the market opportunity of their concepts.
Inventor's Club
In February 2009 the Williamsport/Lycoming KIZ hosted an Inventor's Exchange which brought together close to 50 inventors in Central PA. A result of that event was the creation of an Inventor's Club for our region! The Inventor's Club had its first meeting on March 25, and has been meeting monthly since. The Club provides inventors with a forum to share and learn from each other (in confidence), and learn about topics through special guests on occasion. Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. Check our Events calendar for information on upcoming meetings.
